Who Writes Our Texts?
Our content is written by experts Mattijs Wijnmalen and Freek Jurg who have more than 7 years of experience with environmental zones, license plates and traffic rules in Germany. They know what they are talking about and closely follow current developments.
In addition, each text is always checked by a second reader. In this way, we ensure that everything is correct, clear and remains legible — for everyone.

We base our texts only on reliable and official sources, such as:
The Umweltbundesamt (German Federal Environment Agency)
Municipal regulations from German cities
European transport and environment directives
Experience of travelling to and in the German environmental zones
If we refer to other sources, we do so openly and honestly — with attribution or a link.
We keep everything up to date
Legislation is changing. That is why we regularly check our pages:

No sales pitches

We do not use automatically generated texts without human control. Sometimes AI helps us to structure or check translations, but every text is 100% written and checked by human hands. Always.
